Greenwood

We dream of a reborn Greenwood
A centre of deep spirituality,
Filled with people of all ages, races, genders, and creeds,
Humming with all kinds of activities all week long;
A place rooted eternally in the land
And teeming with the life of all creatures.

We dream of a Centre for community, where all are welcome
And daring justice prevails;
Where all life is valued;
Where diverse values are respected;
Where people take care of each other and the earth;
Where the spirit moves among us.

We dream of a Commons, where all humanity finds its freedom,
Connecting with the life of all living things;
Nurturing sustainable innovations in a time of climate crisis;
A place where neighbours gather to worship and sing,
To practice the lessons taught us by our ancestors
And by Indigenous stewards since time immemorial.
